With the March 20 release date of Twilight Saga New Moon quickly approaching, you need to get your pre-orders in. Many different places are taking pre-orders, and they all have different prices and options. Here are some of our favorites with links to more information.

DIRECTV has announced that if you rent Twilight Sage: New Moon through DIRECTV Cinema or DIRECTV on Demand, you will be able to get behind-the-scenes bonus features not available on cable. The movie will be available on DIRECTV as of midnight on Saturday, March 20. The HD version will be $5.99 and the standard-definition version will be $4.99. They will also be making available for the same prices Twilight in Forks, a documentary of the town of Forks.

If you are pre-ordering Twilight New Moon online but want to be sure that you will see it the day that it comes out, you should look at ordering it through Amazon. Amazon is running a deal where if you order the Twilight Saga: New Moon Two Disc Special Edition through them, you will be able to download it as well through their Video on Demand on release day and watch it immediately.

Amazon is selling the DVD for $20.49, and it is eligible for free Super Saver Shipping. The release date is March 20. The Two-Disc Special Edition includes audio commentary, a behind the scenes documentary, and music videos.

Borders has now announced that it has its own exclusive version of the Twilight Saga New Moon DVD. In addition to “Borders Exclusive Twilight packaging,” the DVD will come with an “exclusive medallion necklace,  gold side with wolf-pack tattoo, silver side is the Cullen crest on a silver chain.”

The DVD of the movie itself should be the same as all of the other versions. The Borders website lists that it “includes previously unreleased EXTENDED SCENES; INTERVIEWS with cast members Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, The Cullen Family, The Wolf Pack, The Volturi and Director Chris Weitz; unrivaled RED CARPET FOOTAGE from the movie premiere; front row seats to The Twilight Saga: New Moon WEBCAST.”

The first Twilight Eclipse posters are starting to surface. So far they are essentially advertisements for the Twilight Saga Eclipse movie. I’ve only seen them available for purchase on Amazon, and they are in very limited supply. I’ll add more Eclipse movie posters as they become available, but you can click here for the Eclipse posters on Amazon.

Good news! You can now pre-order the Twilight Saga New Moon Two-Disc Special Edition at Amazon! Their edition is currently available at the pre-order rate of $21.99.

I will update this post as more information becomes available on all of the different places and editions you can order New Moon. For now, we do know that the Amazon edition will contain at least the following:

• Audio commentary with Director Chris Weitz and Editor Peter Lamber
• A riveting six-part documentary that takes you behind the scenes
• Exclusive band rehearsal footage with Muse
• Music videos from Death Cab for Cutie, Anya Marina, and Mute Math

Something else to keep in mind is that there were quite a few different “editions” of Twilight when the DVD came out depending on where you bought it. Some came with digital copies as well. Others came with posters or collectibles. As we find out more, we will let you know.  March 20 is the official New Moon DVD release date.
