It’s official! Although this isn’t the extension that we have all been waiting for, it is definitely a new book that is part of the Twilight Saga. Stephenie Meyer is releasing “The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner,” a novella. The book is meant to complement Eclipse and will be released before the movie comes out.

What’s really interesting about this is that you will be able to read the ebook for free online from June 5th through July 5th. You will be able to buy an actual book as well if you want. We do know that it will be hardcover and $13.99. One dollar from each book sold in the first printing will go to the American Red Cross.

According to the official press release, the book will focus on the newborn vampire Bree Tanner, introduced in Eclipse. The story will take us through “the newborn vampire army’s journey as they prepare to close in on Bella Swan and the Cullens.” Because Bree will be featured prominently in the Eclipse movie, it is the perfect time to release the book.

Like Stephenie Meyer and Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart is now getting her own comic book. Set to be released on May 27, you can order it now for only $3.19. The Fame comic series from Bluewater Productions has been featured in Rolling Stone, E! Entertainment Television, Elle Magazine, and other media. “Stewart is best known for playing Bella Swan in the Twilight movies, but her path to fame started well before the vampire stories. This new title will follow that path, exploring the other roles that helped launch Kristen Stewart’s star!”

General admission seats are $49.99. Fans will be randomly selected to play against each other and the crew before the Vampire game starts. If you want a chance to get autographs as well, there is a Vampire Baseball “All Star” Premium package that includes a ticket to the Vampire Baseball Game, a ticket to the Beavers v. Sky Sox Baseball game that night, a voucher for an autograph, and a voucher for dinner, dessert, and a soft drink, and fireworks. You might even be lucky enough to have some of the cast and crew attend the dinner! The Premium package tickets are $135 and are available through Ticketmaster.

Apparently even Walmart is jumping on the Twilight bandwagon. Walmart announced yesterday that in March and April they will be featuring “Twilight Shops” in their stores where you can buy the Twilight DVDs, Twilight books, Twilight soundtrack, Twilight posters, and other Twilight odds and ends.

Walmart has also announced that you can order the standard Twilight DVD for only $17.00. The site says that you can do an instore pickup or have it delivered. The 2 DVD set is available for $22.86.
