With the March 20 release date of Twilight Saga New Moon quickly approaching, you need to get your pre-orders in. Many different places are taking pre-orders, and they all have different prices and options. Here are some of our favorites with links to more information.

If you are pre-ordering Twilight New Moon online but want to be sure that you will see it the day that it comes out, you should look at ordering it through Amazon. Amazon is running a deal where if you order the Twilight Saga: New Moon Two Disc Special Edition through them, you will be able to download it as well through their Video on Demand on release day and watch it immediately.

Amazon is selling the DVD for $20.49, and it is eligible for free Super Saver Shipping. The release date is March 20. The Two-Disc Special Edition includes audio commentary, a behind the scenes documentary, and music videos.

Borders has now announced that it has its own exclusive version of the Twilight Saga New Moon DVD. In addition to “Borders Exclusive Twilight packaging,” the DVD will come with an “exclusive medallion necklace,  gold side with wolf-pack tattoo, silver side is the Cullen crest on a silver chain.”

The DVD of the movie itself should be the same as all of the other versions. The Borders website lists that it “includes previously unreleased EXTENDED SCENES; INTERVIEWS with cast members Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, The Cullen Family, The Wolf Pack, The Volturi and Director Chris Weitz; unrivaled RED CARPET FOOTAGE from the movie premiere; front row seats to The Twilight Saga: New Moon WEBCAST.”

Good news! You can now pre-order the Twilight Saga New Moon Two-Disc Special Edition at Amazon! Their edition is currently available at the pre-order rate of $21.99.

• A riveting six-part documentary that takes you behind the scenes

Added: It looks like Target has a Twilight Saga New Moon 3 Disc Deluxe Edition DVD with Bonus Collectible Film Cell. It is selling for $26.99 on pre-order. The third disc promises to contain “third disc of never before seen content.”

Borders now has its own version as well. It comes with “an exclusive medallion necklace.”

Although Amazon does currently list the Twilight Saga: New Moon 2-Disc Special Edition DVD Set, they are not taking orders for it yet. They generally start taking orders a couple of months in advance of the release. I’ve heard everywhere from middle of March to middle of April for the release.

As I mentioned, there is virtually no information about the CD yet. However, as of this post, it is the #7 selling soundtrack on Amazon and #41 overall. Pretty good for a CD without any songs yet!

If you pre-order your Twilight New Moon Soundtrack from Amazon today, you will get it for $9.99 as well as get $1 worth of Amazon mp3s for free. It’s not a fabulous deal, but it is probably as good as it is going to get.
