Archie & Friends #146 and Archie & Friends #147 will will be parts 1 and 2 of “Twilite.” Here are the descriptions from TFAW.com.

We’ve seen a number of different Twilight dolls and figures. The most recent set to come out are the Twilight New Moon Figures. They are 7 inches tall and you can get them in Jasper, Jacob, Edward, and the “Sparkle” Edward. Jacob is shirtless and the “Sparkle” version of Edward glitters in the sunlight. Each of them is poseable, and they are sold separately. There is not much Jasper merchandise out there for Twilight, so I suspect that one will sell particularly fast.

Thanks to my friends at TFAW.com, I’ve been filled in about a fantastic new Twilight-ish item that no one else is talking about. Bluewater Productions has released a Female Force biographical comic book about Stephenie Meyer. Here’s the official description from TFAW:

I don’t know too many of us in the market for a $150 Edward doll, but if you are a collector of this type of item, these will likely go quickly. If it’s out of your price range but you want something similar, check out the Twilight Edward Cullen and Bella Swan Action Figure 2-pack. At only $28 for the pair, it’s a little more realistic.

I had seen Edward Cullen Action Figures before, but this is the first that I have seen that you can order both Edward and Bella. Not much information is available yet except this from the TFAW site:

So if you want the Edward Doll, you can either pre-order it cheaper at TFAW.com or order it now for a bit more at Hot Topic. Either way, I would not be surprised if they sell out soon because they will be starting merchandising for New Moon this summer.

We’ve been hearing speculation that the Twilight DVD might be out as early as February 14. However, none of the stores have given any indication that they are getting close to getting the DVDs. In fact, most are not even taking preorders for it yet. However, I did find one site tonight that is doing preorders for the Twilight DVD already, with a tentative U.S. release date of April 30, 2009.

Things From Another World (TFAW.com) has three different Twilight DVDs for preorder: Twilight DVD Blu-Ray, Twilight DVD Reg Ed, and Twilight DVD Spec Ed. This coincides with what we have been hearing about a special Twilight edition with commentary, outtakes, etc.

Prices range from $27.99 to $31.99. That is with the 20% pre-order discount. I’ll continue to keep an eye out for all Twilight DVD preorder options!

Edited: Some sites are now saying that the release date of the Twilight DVD is March 21. The TFAW preorder page still says April 30 but that the DVDs will be sent to coincide with the street release date of the DVD.

Yesterday I posted about the new Twilight figures from TONNER. Today I have even better news. You can pre-order a 7-inch Twilight Edward doll at Things From Another World (TFAW.com) for only $14.39! Here’s some information about the figure:

Now that the movie has been released, we are definitely seeing more Twilight merchandise. Keep checking back here because I am adding new items that I find every week.

I’ve been working on getting more details about the new Twilight Premium Trading Cards. According to the Inkworks website, the cards will be released in November. The 72-card base set will include cards with scenes from the Twilight movie and Twilight character cards. However, there will also be bonus cards including cards titled “Always,” “Protector,” “Different,” and “In Pursuit.”

Although the above cards will be able to be purchased at retail stores, there will be additional “Autograph” and “Pieceworks” cards that can only be purchased at hobby stores, card, and comic book retailers. These cards feature the autographs of the Twilight cast members as well as information about pieces of the costumes worn by the Twilight characters in the movie.

What I love about these cards are that there are images different than the standard Bella and Edward images that we have been seeing all over the place. As an Alice fan, I love the pictures of the full Cullen family. Looking for a comic store to buy from so that you have a chance at getting some of the bonus cards?
