Right now the Borders website says that the Twilight Calendar is not available in stores. I’m not sure if it will be once it is actually released. But you can preorder it now for $16.99.

Many of you have been asking me about preording Twilight: Director’s Notebook by Catherine Hardwicke. Unfortunately, it does not yet look like anyone is taking preorders for it. Here is what I have been able to piece together about the book between the Stephenie Meyer website and MTV:

The book is essentially a look at the making of the Twilight movie from Catherine Hardwicke’s perspective. It includes Hardwicke’s notes about various aspects of the making of the moving, including casting and costumes.

Here is a blurb from the press release about the book’s availability:
“Designed to replicate the director’s own personal notebook that she kept on set, readers will discover the inside secrets on casting, location scouting and wardrobe to storyboard sketches, behind-the-scenes photographs, personal notes about Catherine’s favorite scenes and much more. This one-of-a-kind experience for all Twilight fans will be released in hardcover for $17.99 with an announced first printing of 500,000 copies.”

That’s all that I know so far! As soon as I find out where we can order the book from, I will let you know.

We’ve been hearing speculation that the Twilight DVD might be out as early as February 14. However, none of the stores have given any indication that they are getting close to getting the DVDs. In fact, most are not even taking preorders for it yet. However, I did find one site tonight that is doing preorders for the Twilight DVD already, with a tentative U.S. release date of April 30, 2009.

Things From Another World (TFAW.com) has three different Twilight DVDs for preorder: Twilight DVD Blu-Ray, Twilight DVD Reg Ed, and Twilight DVD Spec Ed. This coincides with what we have been hearing about a special Twilight edition with commentary, outtakes, etc.

Prices range from $27.99 to $31.99. That is with the 20% pre-order discount. I’ll continue to keep an eye out for all Twilight DVD preorder options!

Edited: Some sites are now saying that the release date of the Twilight DVD is March 21. The TFAW preorder page still says April 30 but that the DVDs will be sent to coincide with the street release date of the DVD.

The images on the puzzles are the same that we have been seeing from the movie on a lot of other merchandise–the classic Pattinson and Stewart (Edward and Bella) shot as well as the vampire cast members with Pattinson and Steward. Hot Topic has some other new products as well that we want to highlight, but we will get to those tomorrow. For now, check out these Twilight puzzles before they sell out.

Everyone has been waiting for what have been dubbed the “Twilight Dolls” to appear on shelves. Bad news. It’s going to be Spring before you can get them. The good news is that TONNER has now unveiled the images of the Edward and Bella Character Figures. Here’s a shot of both Edward and Bella together:

The new Twilight figures are modeled after Bella and Edward as depicted in the movie and are officially licensed by Summit. They stand 15″ and 17″ tall. Unfortunately, there are no prices on them yet. I’ll keep an eye on the TONNER site and report back as soon as I see that they are available for purchase.

The seller actually has a deal right now where you can buy 3 posters and get 1 free. But I think this is a better deal for the 5. Each of the Twilight movie posters is 24″ x 36″. That would be about 6 feet wide by 6 feet tall even if you didn’t space them out! A perfect gift for any Twilight fan.
