If you haven’t seen this on the newstands yet, you’ve got to check it out at Barnes & Noble! US Weekly has released a special, limited edition magazine titled “Sexy Stars of Twilight.” It contains photos of the Twilight movie stars and features behind-the-scenes information about the filming of Twilight Saga New Moon. It also has seven pull-out posters.

B&N visitors give the magazine 4.5 out of 5 stars. That’s pretty good! Most of the negative comments were only about Twilight in general and not actually about this magazine.

The vocabulary words in Defining New Moon will have very little overlap with the vocabulary words in Defining Twilight.  More than 300 of the 320 primary vocabulary words will be new to Defining New Moon.

1. The first page of each chapter lists 8 vocabulary words with page references to Stephenie Meyer’s New Moon. Students refer to New Moon, read each word in context, and attempt to define it.

3. The third page presents SAT, ACT, GED, and SSAT drills to memorize and integrate the definitions of the new words.

Some of you have posted in the comments that you would love to get your hands on the Twilight books and music but cannot afford to pay full price. Getting on the lists at libraries doesn’t help because the lists are so long. I’ve been getting the Harry Potter books at my local Half Price Bookstore, but the Twilight books are always sold out. So I found a good alternative–Half.com! It’s an ebay-owned company, so it is totally legitimate.

Twilight the book sells starting at $3.70 used. For that price, you could get the entire Twilight Saga for about $15! They also carry the Twilight audiobooks as well as the Twilight movie soundtrack. You can even get Twilight: The Complete Illustrated Movie Companion for a bargain.

I just recieved my copy of Twilight: The Complete Illustrated Movie Companion and had to share it with you. It retails for $16.99, but I bought mine for about $10. Borders, Barnes and Noble, and Amazon are selling it for between $10 and $16, with Amazon selling it the cheapest at just over $10. 

Here’s a quick video of my book. I’ve only had it about an hour, so I haven’t read much of it. But what I have read is terrific. The pictures of Edward, Bella, the Cullen family, Forks, etc. are incredibly vivid. You can almost guess what scene all of them are from–including the baseball scene, prom, and the scene in the ballet studio. There are some incredibly hot pictures of Edward. There’s also an interesting picture and discussion of the Cullen Crest.

If you are looking at doing Twilight Halloween costumes, this book would be extremely helpful. You can see the eye colors of the characters, what Bella wears to prom, and how all of the characters are dressed. You can also see how subtle the vampire makeup is.

I don’t want to spoil it all for you, but I think you will agree when you watch the video that Twilight: The Complete Illustrated Movie Companion is worth the money!

I noticed today that the Twilight books are 4 of the top 10 selling books available for the Kindle on Amazon. If you do not know what the Kindle is but you read a lot, you should definitely check it out. The Kindle is basically a wireless electronic book reader with a screen that reads like paper. You can download thousands of books, newspapers, and blogs to it. While the initial investment is high, the “books” are much cheaper than books in print.

While the Twilight books run between about $10 and $25 each in paperback or hard cover, here are the Kindle prices:
